FAQ
Everything we can tell you today.
When does Curated Hammer launch?
We’re pre-launch. Join Early Access and we’ll write when the first sales open.
What fees will buyers pay?
Our buyer’s premium and any other buyer fees will be published before launch, and every lot will show its all-in price before you bid.
What do sellers pay?
Commission tiers for dealers and auction houses will be published before launch.
How does escrow work?
Funds are held in escrow until delivery, then released after an inspection window, unless you open a dispute. The exact window will be published in our Buyer Terms before launch.
Who arranges shipping?
We do. Shipping, crating, insurance and customs are quoted on the lot page and arranged after purchase.
How are sellers vetted?
Dealers and auction houses are reviewed before listing, including their credentials, provenance practices and condition reporting.
Can I bid from my phone?
Yes. The site is designed mobile-first, including the live auction room.
What about antiquities?
Antiquities are accepted only with documented provenance and will follow applicable import, export and cultural-property rules.
Where are the Buyer and Seller Terms?
An outline of our Buyer and Seller Terms is on our Terms page. Final terms, including the exact inspection window, will be published before launch.
